Hello, Everyone! We know it has been a WHILE since we have posted a great blog for you. Now is the time again! We are excited about all of the new things happening here! Our Spring/Summer season just ended and we are looking ahead to our Fall/Winter season. We have photo shoots, website sales, contests and more coming up so you don't want to miss all that we have going on.

Since the last time we posted, we have a new, exhilarating way to share our great clothes with you! We started Smocked by Shine on Facebook! We are already over 4,000 fans and we are getting more everyday. We use this page to sell merchandise in a thrilling, auction style, sale. It is so much FUN! If you haven't seen these sales, head over to the page and check them out every Monday and Wednesday night at 8pm CST! Warning: You will get addicted to these sales!

Another thing is now that our Spring/Summer trunk season is over, we will be having sales on our left over merchandise on our website. We are looking forward to helping you dress your little ones in the BEST of smocked clothing! You can trust our brand to bring you quality merchandise at affordable prices! To know when this sale is happening, sign up for our email list! You can find the link to sign up at the top of our Facebook page. Please know that the inventory on our website is ALL we have left and we will not be ordering anymore for the season. Get what you can before it's gone!

We are now recruiting reps for our Fall/Winter season. The new season begins June 25th. There are plenty of ways to get involved with our company and easy ways to earn free clothes and discounts. Exciting News!

 We are starting to get really excited! Not only are we busy because of our Spring/Summer 2012 season coming up, but we recently just launched our new year round 24/7 website. This is something VERY new to us. In the past, we have had our two selling seasons and then the website would be down until the beginning the next season. We have listened to our customers over the years and we are thrilled to be able to give you our clothing year round.We will have website exclusives and sales for your convenience year round.

  We first launched our NEW website in October and our sales have taken off! We are having an overwhelming response to our website and we know there have been a few "glitches" and quirks that we are working through, but we really appreciate all of our faithful customers. Thank you for your patronage! Our Spring/Summer catalog is coming together and we are recruiting more and more Consultants everyday. We are prepared for a really big season! We hope you will stick with us as we continue to make changes for you and improve our company.

Because we love our customers so much, here is special "sneak peek" of brand new items that will be in our Spring/Summer line. We will continue to "peek" items as the weeks pass leading to our new season.

More Spotlights!

Hi Everyone!
    It's that time again! It's time to spotlight two more of our awesome sales representatives for their hard work this season! Just like the others, both of these reps are brand new this season. That always impresses me!

The first one I will start with is Allie Wilson, our rep for Albany, GA. She has had 7 parties and exceeded her goal for the season. She has been wonderful to work with!

What a beautiful family!

"Hey everyone!  My name is Allie Wilson and I live with my husband, Blake, and our three sweet angels (most of the time!), Briley Kate (6), Emily (4), and Millie Rose (15 months)…Yes, 3 girls! I live in the small city of Albany, GA and have lived in South Georgia all of my life.  I love to run, bake and spend time in the neighborhood with our friends. I also love hanging out with my family and staying active and involved at our church, Porterfield Memorial UMC. 

I stay at home with my girls and decided to try becoming a rep for Castles and Crowns when I saw the opportunity come available in our area.  I have always loved the clothes and I knew it would be an easy thing to sell because they are so well-made…and SOO PRECIOUS!  It has been fun to visit with people and meet new faces! I have really had a great time!"

Our next rep is Crystal Mitchell. She is our rep for Natchitoches, LA. She, too met her goal this season and had 5 parties. We have enjoyed working with her! 

"I am a fulltime working mom of one precious daughter, Ava Grace.  I love to dress my daughter in handmade and smocked clothing because of the uniqueness of the clothing.  I always had clothing parties/trunk shows and hosted them but thought, hey why don't I do this?  I went to a Castle and Crowns party and the next year decided that this was the right fit for me. I have met many wonderful people through doing the parties and not to mention the rewards aren't too shabby!!!  I'm so excited to be working for a wonderful company and am thrilled about this new adventure in my life. Two more spotlights!

Hi Everyone,
  I hope everyone is having a great week! I know it is hard to come back to reality after a nice Labor Day break!I hope all of you enjoyed every minute of it.

One of our favorite things to do is to acknowledge our Representatives for all the hard work they put in. This season we have had many NEW Representatives that have really impressed us! It's always nice to see fresh faces come through and be successful. I have two people to spotlight today starting with Beth Joel from Southaven, MS. She exceeded her goal early in the season, was always timely and organized and was just an all around pleasure to work with. Thank you, Beth Joel!

"My name is Beth Haaga Joel and I live in Southaven, MS with my husband of 7 years, Jay and beautiful baby girl, Kate Ellis that turned one in July. I grew up in Cleveland, MS and attended Delta State University where I received my BSN. I currently work part-time at LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I believe that children are God's most precious gift to us and I feel privileged to be able to take care of these tiny miracles day to day."

The second Representative we will spotlight today is Kaci Morris. She is our Rep for the Midland, TX area and met her goal in our first selling session in June. She has a lot of excitement for her work with our company and we are grateful to have her on our team! Thank you, Kaci Morris!

"Hi! I am Kaci Morris from Midland, Texas. My husband, John, and I have one son named William Kent. William has been wearing Castles and Crowns his whole (short) life! CAC are the outfits in his closet I go to time after time. We do not use the outfits for special occasions, he wears them every day! They wash beautifully and keep their color. That is why, when i was approached about representing CAC for Midland it was a no-brainer! The clothes sell them selves! I enjoy the fun and easy selling process and can see myself doing this for a long time! "

New Rep Spotlight

  Hello everyone,
    I hope all of you are having a great week! We are always getting new, energetic representatives to join our team and I want to put a spotlight on some of our fresh faces who have really stood out this season. I will start with our new Franklin, TN Representative, Julie Bourne. She has had 10 parties and has already surpassed her goal for the season. She has been a great pleasure to work with!

"My name is Julie Bourne, and I live just outside of Nashville in Franklin, TN.  I've been married to my wonderful husband Brad for 11 years, and we have two sweet daughters, Anna Claire and Caroline. After purchasing Castles & Crowns clothing for my girls for years, I thought it might be fun to become a rep.  And I have to say, it's been really great! Auburn, reading, fall weather, shopping, & travel are some of the things I love most!"

CONTEST!

Happy Monday, Everyone! I hope y'all had a fabulous weekend!

   Have you ever looked at your child and thought they would look perfect on the cover of a magazine? Or when they wear Castles & Crowns you thought they look like the perfect little model? I know you have!  I am overly excited about the contest going on with our Facebook right now. We announced on Friday that we are starting a new contest and it involves the true stars of our lines: your LITTLE ONES! Every week we send out a mass email advertisement that lets everyone know what's new with our company. Next week's email will be featuring the winning picture from our contest and it could be you!  Here's how it works: All you have to do is email a picture of your child in Castles & Crowns clothing to contest@castlesandcrowns.com  to enter. Starting Wednesday, August 17th they will be posted in an album on our Facebook page and the pic that gets the most "likes" wins and will be the star of our August 23rd email advertisement. Hurry and send in your pics because you have to send it in by Wednesday to be eligible to win. I look forward to seeing all of your pics!
